Targeted youth support: additional resources
A wealth of supporting information around multi-agency working and targeted youth support (TYS) has been and is being produced by local authority area children's trusts, services and agencies for young people, and other sources. Much of this information is linked to the change management process outlined in this toolkit and has been created by the TYS pathfinders.

Joint
planning and commissioning
Effective joint planning and commissioning is at the heart of improving

section of the website explores this in detail, covering areas such as needs
assessment and prioritisation, joint commissioning, pooling budgets and
resources, efficiency and performance management.

of specific issues.

people
Prompt questions about teenage pregnancy, youth justice, child and adolescent
mental health services, looked-after children, safeguarding, truancy,
parenting, anti-social behaviour, school partnerships, exclusions, young
people not in education, employment or training, and workforce
issues.
Regional
contacts
This document provides contact details for regional stakeholders in targeted
youth support. Further guidance on whom to contact and in what
circumstances will be given shortly. In the short term this list is
