Implementation Plan
Published on 18 March 2008, the Aiming High Implementation Plan sets out
arrangements for implementing Aiming High for Young People; highlighting the
progress to date, and describing the key actions to be taken over the next 12
months.
Intended for use by the wide range of agencies, volunteers and professionals
working to improve outcomes for young people, the Implementation Plan is a
'live' document which will be updated regularly to reflect progress and
new developments.
Updated Aiming High Implementation Plan - Published 15 October
2008
This newly updated Implementation Plan (15 October 2008) sets out arrangements
for implementing Aiming High and highlights progress to date, as well as the
key actions which will be taken over the next 12 months. It is intended to
be of use to all agencies and professionals working to improve outcomes for
young people and is a live document, updated regularly to reflect progress and
new developments. Please note: this document updates the first
Implementation Plan, available below, which was published in March 2008.
We want the implementation of Aiming High to create a new sense of partnership in delivering better opportunities and services for young people - a partnership which rewards innovation and addresses existing barriers to securing a better opportunity for young people. The DCSF will lead in the implementation and ensure that stakeholders continue to influence, and be involved in, the delivery of Aiming High's commitments.
